Fall photos in Central Park

A 30-minute guided session at Bethesda Terrace and the Literary Walk in Central Park, 10 professionally edited high-resolution photos and your full private online gallery within 7 days. Pay by Zelle or Venmo, in full, to confirm your date and time. Paying upfront locks in your spot, respects everyone's time and helps us avoid no-shows. We'll email your confirmation as soon as your payment arrives.

No. Session fees are non-refundable, because each slot we hold for you is turned away from someone else. You can transfer your spot to a friend once, or reschedule once (see below).

Yes, once, at no charge, if you let us know at least 7 days before your session, based on the open times on the remaining session dates. Within 7 days, the session counts as a cancellation.

Yes, during booking: 2-business-day Express Delivery (+$100), Extra Edited Photos (+$10 each, up to 10), and a 15 to 30 second Cinematic Video for social media (+$50).

At Bethesda Fountain in Central Park, at the edge of the fountain facing the lake. It sits mid-park at 72nd Street. Look for the photographer with the camera at the fountain edge.

Sessions run back to back, so your session starts and ends at your scheduled time to respect the families booked after you. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early, dressed and ready. Arriving late shortens your session and may mean fewer photos. If you're more than 10 minutes late without contacting us, the session is treated as a no-show.

Please check the forecast for your date when you book. If it looks rainy, too cold or otherwise not good for photos, message us and we'll help you move to another date and time at no cost, even last minute. We also watch the forecast and will reach out if conditions look unsafe or unworkable. If none of the open dates work, you get a credit for a future session within 12 months. Light overcast is great for photos, so we shoot through clouds.

Coordinating earth tones look amazing with fall leaves: cream, camel, rust, olive, denim, burgundy. Avoid big logos, neon colors and busy small patterns. Bring a layer in case it's chilly. Comfortable shoes help: we'll walk a bit.

For everyone's safety, the photographer may pause or end a session if conditions become unsafe: severe weather, park closures or emergencies, or harassment or unsafe behavior. If weather or the environment ends a session early, we'll finish it another day. Please read the agreement for full details.

No. Raw files are an unfinished product and aren't provided or sold. You'll receive the best images from your session, edited in our signature style. Extra edited photos can be added during booking or after your gallery is delivered.

Central Park is a public place, so other people may be in the background. We frame shots to avoid them and clean up small distractions. Heavy retouching (removing people, body reshaping) isn't included.

Yes, please do! Share them on your personal social media, and tag @shiftstudio.nyc. Please don't add filters or edit the photos, and don't use them commercially (ads, brand promos, sponsored posts) without asking us first.

We love sharing our favorites on Instagram and our website, and your agreement allows it by default. If you'd rather we didn't, email shiftstudio.nyc@gmail.com with your booking code before your session and we'll keep your photos private. Anything already posted or emailed out before we hear from you can't always be taken back.
